This employer pays your program fee and the lifeguard course, depending on your start day.
Pay rates for the cities of Urbanna, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Fredericksburg, Hampton, Newport News, Richmond, Charlottesville, and Williamsburg are as follows:
Regular Rates $14.50
Overtime rates $21.75
Returnee $15.00 and $22.50 overtime
WE GUARANTEE 55 HOURS PER WEEK (40h + 15h overtimes) for all areas (conditions apply)
EARLY START DATE BONUS (program fee deduction):
Start date no later than May 24 – $1100 + $300 lifeguard training fee deduction
Start date no later than May 31 – $700 + $100 lifeguard training fee deduction
Start date no later than June 7 – $550 + $100 lifeguard training fee deduction
Summer performance bonus $150
Employee of the month bonus $50
Lifeguard Program fees deducted on bi-weekly basis.
Housing is provided by employer.
Housing Cost: $175/week
Housing deposit is $150 and Administration Fee $50
(2-3 bedroom apartments, 2 people per room, washer and dryer included, fully stocked kitchen)

How to get there? ✈
Signature Pool Management will provide transportation from the following locations throughout May and June between 7 am and 10 pm EST:
1. All bus stations in the City of Richmond (Flixbus, Greyhound, Megabus, etc.). Please specify the exact address to your coordinator (peter@sigpoolsva.com)
2. Airports:
– Richmond International Airport
– Norfolk International Airport (approval needed by an SPM representative)
3. All trains stations in the City of Richmond.
IMPORTANT:
Signature Pool Management will provide transportation from IAD – Dulles International Airport (Washington DC) with an arrival no later than June 6, 2024, by 7pm EST.
Note: We strongly recommend against New York airports as a port of entry to the United States due to potential delays, increased cost, and travel exhaustion.

Working locations will be assigned according to company’s business needs and depend on many factors such as: previous experience, date of arrival, customer expectations, etc.
Virginia Beach, near to the Atlantic Ocean, is a popular area where a lot of Work and Travel students spend their summer. Virginia Beach is home to a flourishing local culinary scene, rich history, a variety of arts and entertainment. Hundreds of hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops are just step from the beach and boardwalk.
Signature Pool Management (SPM) is a professional pool management company based in Richmond, Virginia. SPM services several apartment complexes, condo associations, swim clubs, hotels and homeowner associations.
