We have experience with employees from many countries, we are a family run business and have operated for 40 years, and we treat our employees like they are part of our family. Our hotel is located on the main strip of the Virginia Beach oceanfront just across the street from the ocean.

There are beaches, aquariums, shopping and tourist attractions nearby. We allow staff access to our continental breakfast in the morning.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A hotel housekeeper is responsible for ensuring rooms and other areas of a hotel are kept clean. A housekeepers duties entail making beds, replacing used towels with new ones, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the guest rooms. Cleaning bathrooms and ensuring new toiletries provided by the hotel are placed at appropriate spaces.

Wage and housing

WAGE:

$15.00/hour + TIPS

Estimated weekly wages including tips: $600
Estimated average number of hours per week: 40

HOUSING:

Housing Cost: $135/week

Housing addresses are 205 11th Street and also 1000 Atlantic Avenue, both are located where our business is. Employees will have full kitchens with microwave, private baths, air conditioning, and furnishings.

Occupancy Per Room: 2 – 4

Transport and location

Norfolk International Airport is 20 miles from our property. Take a taxi or Uber and you will arrive at our hotel within 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Virginia Beach the city offers a free transportation called Freebie which will take you to shopping, buy groceries, or anywhere within the resort area.
