Covering 17,000 acres the Morton Arboretum mission is to collect and study trees, shrubs, and other plants from around the world, to display them across naturally beautiful landscapes for people to study and enjoy, and to learn how to grow them in ways that enhance the environment. Aramark provides the food and beverage for exclusive catering events and retail foods for guests.

Maximum group size: pairs

Catering server:

Setup event space
Buffet equipment and serve ware
Guest tables (polish flatware, fold napkins, place glassware)
Butler pass appetizers/champagne
Serve food tableside during weddings/corporate event (four courses) Clear tables
Breakdown event food and beverage

Kitchen crew:

Prep and produce food under guidance of culinary leads
Keep a clean and sanitized work station
Aid in receiving product into kitchen and storing it to proper standards Aid on plate up for catering events
Aid in dish in dish washing

Wage and housing

WAGE:

Catering server – $16.5/hour + TIPS
(32-49 hours/week)

Kitchen Crew – $18.5/hour
(35-49 hours/week)

MEAL PLAN:

7.5 hour shift includes one complimentary meal with an $18 menu value

GROOMING REQUIREMENTS

Keep fingernails short and clean, Facial hair must be groomed and can be no longer than ¼ inch, Hair must be a natural color and makeup needs to be natural toned, All hairstyle should be presentable and professional, Unless mentioned below, all jewelry is not allowed: Plan wedding band- no stones allowed. Necklaces secured below uniform including medical information tags are allowed, NOSE PIERCINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED, Visible tattoos are not allowed.

HOUSING:

Cost is $150 weekly deducted from paycheck if rooming with one other person. No housing deposit needed.

Located just outside Chicago, Lisle offers a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Featuring many parks, mom and pop dining options and Four Ski hill for outdoor enthusiasts.

We will plan to host a meet and greet meal once participants arrive to kick off the season and meet the team. We will also plan to have an end of season outing altogether in Chicago. The Morton Arboretum also offers its grounds free of charge during your employment with us to use on your days off.
